How do I access Vu Wil?

To access InPlace, log in to MyVU and click the Work integrated learning (WIL) tile.

How do you access Vu collaborate?

VU Collaborate is available here: https://vucollaborate.vu.edu.au . You can also access VU Collaborate via the MYVU Portal which provides links to a range of VU online applications, including VU Collaborate. To log in, use your VU username and password.

Do nursing students get paid for placements in Australia?

Students on placement are not paid, some told they are unable to work during this period and some even taking on casual work on top of their full time shifts to pay their bills. Placements range from 3 weeks to 8 weeks, that's a maximum of 2 months with unpaid work at 40+ hours a week.

Can you work while doing placement?

Work placements can be paid or unpaid, part-time or full-time (even during term-time) if they're an assessed part of your course. You can also work in a part-time job while doing your placement, but remember to stay aware of your weekly limit on working hours.
