What is the veterans home care program?

The Veterans' Home Care (VHC) Program provides a small amount of practical help at home so you can continue to live independently. It is not designed to meet complex or high-level care needs. If you have long-term high-level personal care needs, you may be referred to our Community Nursing Program.

How do you bill DVA patients?

How can payments be made?
  1. Phone: Call PTS Billing (02) 8848 5157 and provide credit card details over the phone.
  2. Mail: Credit card details can be completed on the “tear off” portion of the invoice and returned.
  3. Cheques: Mailed to PTS Billing, Service Centre Westmead, PO Box 292, Westmead, NSW, 2145.

Does DVA pay for aged care?

DVA will pay the basic daily care fee, which is the client funding component, for up to 28 days. Some residential aged care facilities may need payment in advance to organise respite care.
