How does Mwalimu Sacco work?

This is a compulsory insurance scheme for all SACCO members. Each member contributes Kshs. 400 monthly. The fund is used to pay off the outstanding loans for a deceased member, pay off the last expense benefit and double the shares payable to the beneficiary (nominee).

  4. Select Business number and enter the Mwalimu national SACCO Paybill Number 541900.
  5. Enter Account Number, enter your ID number eg 4538940.

How do I withdraw money from Mwalimu Sacco?

Notify the Mwalimu National Sacco Board of your intention to leave. The board should receive a 60 days' written notice to withdraw from the society. You will then have to provide substitute guarantors if applicable. This is in case you have signed loan forms for any other member (s).
