How long does JMU notify you of acceptance?

Most students not admitted during Early Action are automatically reviewed again carefully as part of the Regular Decision pool and they are notified of our admission decision by early April.

How do you check if you got into JMU?

Students can check their application status in the Applicant Center of MyMadison. The Applicant Center is only available after a student has submitted their online application and created a JMU eID.

How do I change my JMU password?

How do I change my password?
  1. Complete Duo authentication.
  2. Select the MyAccounts tab.
  3. Click “Change Your Password”
  4. Complete Security Awareness – allocate 10-15 minutes for this step.
  5. Set a new password.
  6. After you receive the “Password Change Successful” message, log out of MyMadison.
  7. Restart your computer.
