What is HealthLink for?

Health Link provides a number of clinical services including tele-triage and health advice, navigation services and online content support for all Albertans by calling 811 or by using one of its companion web products, MyHealth.Alberta.ca or InformAlberta.ca.

What is a HealthLink EDI?

The HealthLink Online Directory contains our users, their contact information, HealthLink Messaging Address (EDI) and software capabilities. You can look up an EDI and update your practice details using the Directory. If you require a login to access the Directory, please contact us on 1300 145 465 (Option 1).

How do I access HealthLink?

Search for the patient and open their electronic medical record. Open the Best Practice Word Processor by clicking on the Letter icon (or use the F4 on the keyboard). Then click on the HealthLink Forms icon. In the HealthLink Forms window, click the New Form button.

How do I download HealthLink?

To install the HealthLink Messaging Client you will require an EDI account and password, and certificate OTP. If you do not have these please contact the Customer Service team to obtain them on 1800 125 036. After clicking on 'Download This Software' we suggest saving the installation file to your Desktop.
