How long is PLT full-time?

Program structure
The UNSW PLT program combines coursework (four core courses and two electives) and workplace experience (40 days). The full-time 20-week coursework component consists of a 5-day intensive followed by 19 weeks of online courses.

How long is PLT in Australia?

The training takes approximately three months full-time or eight months part-time. Workplace experience requires around 75 working days (15 weeks) of supervised experience in the delivery of legal services.

Grades awarded for all LLB (Hons) and JD law courses are currently governed by the College's Scaling Guideline (SG). The Scaling Guideline has been effective from Winter Session 2018 as an Interim Scaling Guideline and formalised from 2020.
