How much is autism funding in BC?

Families can access up to $22,000 per year to help pay for eligible autism services, therapies, or equipment.

At what age does autism funding end in BC?

Autism Funding: Ages 6-18
Only specific services, therapies, training and equipment are eligible for funding. Families may use up to 20% of their annual funding to purchase eligible equipment, travel or training.

When a youth with autism turns 18, they may be eligible to receive Person with Disabilities (PWD) benefits. Applicants do not have to have an intel- lectual disability to qualify for PWD benefits. This provides individuals with a monthly income as well as a range of health services and an annual low cost transit pass.
